AusCheer Results

Okay.. competition results of our time at AusCheer, in Brisbane, Australia:

Partner Stunts category, Level 4: 1st & 3rd place
KimSwee & WaiMin: 1st place
Natalie & Jordan (from Lions Cheer Squad): 2nd place
AhWah & Ivy: 3rd place

Group Stunts category, Level 4: 2nd place
Purple Team (from Lions Cheer Squad): 1st place
Team Malaysia (consisting of KimIng, WaiMin, KimSwee & Ahwah of The Rebels ;)): 2nd place

It was really crazy for this division. We came up with our group stunt routine only when we were in Australia, meaning we practiced no more than 3 times or so... o_o;; I think YeeMing (Team Malaysia's captain) nearly experienced a heart failure when she found out...

Cheer category, Level 4.2: 1st place
Team Malaysia: 1st place
Fit2Cheer Royals: 2nd place

Personally, (waimin) i felt that they had a more interesting routine than we did. They've got cool tumblings and they were quite strong too. Just that they faltered in some of their stunts. There were some parts of the routine that may have had too much activity going on, but they had great transitions and gorgeous uniforms XD I think it's the silver that made their colours so sharp. I liketh much their ribbons too :p

Hello from Australia ;)

a little shout out from GoldCoast, Australia here ;) we would not be able to update our blog much until we get back because unlimited free wifi is not as ubiquitously found here as back home in Malaysia, but as a teaser, we've got good news about our competition here..... (not much of a teaser, but oh well :p)

We will be back in Malaysia by the 20th of July 2009, a monday ;)

A visit from Singapore

I'm quite sure KahWeng wants to kill us for the superbly late update :p blame the people who uploaded pictures of us together at training onto their facebook accounts but did not tell me so.. heheh, no lar xp we've just been tied up with other matters lately.

In the third week of June, KahWeng from Aces, the cheerteam of the Nanyang Technology University in Singapore, joined us for some goofing around.

Monday, 15June: KahWeng, who had been in touch with YeeMing from CHARM All Stars, dropped by to watch the training session of the team going to Australia. We found out that this super tall dude lives in Ampang and asked him if he would like to come train with us in Cheras, to which he said, "Sure." :p

Tuesday, 16June: KahWeng joined the team going to Australia for training again and manly took on all the girls on the team, basing each one of them ;) We stayed back after training for a short round of drinks in Sunway/Subang Jaya.

Wednesday, 17June: KahWeng joined The Rebels for training :p and also joined us for a noisy round of mamak, where he confirmed the supposed talk that Malaysian food is better tasting than Singapore's :p no offense meant to dear Singaporeans who read this. You know we love you guys ;p

Thursday, 18June: KahWeng dropped by during training for the Australian competition again and got a picture of us stunting 4 cupies, which he had put up on his blog.

Friday, 19June: KahWeng joined the Rebels for training again and revealed the camwhoring side of him :p And after training, we had a long round of mamak again, hehheh.

We took pictures of KahWeng stunting with us during training.... but I'll need to hunt those pictures down first... not sure whose camera had taken the pictures :p but here are the non-stunting-just-messing-around pictures :) enjoy (KahWeng's the black-tshirt-wearing guy at the back)
